What's a Model? A "Model" is a professionally designed template (think of a Web page or flash animation) that includes graphics, animation, navigation and other components that can be easily edited and saved as a new Model. Models can be downloaded from the Flypaper Web site, uploaded by anyone, and endlessly modified, saved and shared.

What's a Story? A "Story" is the output of the Flypaper software (think of an existing Flash animation that you can edit and resave); it's your own customized, interactive pictures, words and videos. Share it with a link to our Community, or publish as a movie and post your Stories on YouTube, MySpace and Facebook.

What does Flypaper do?

Flypaper Models are great Story templates so you don't have to start from scratch. But unlike old-fashioned templates, with Flypaper Models you can add, delete, resize or move any of the elements on a page. You can also add your own:

  • Pictures: .BMP, .GIF, .JPG, .JPEG, .PNG
  • Videos: .AVI, .FLV, .MOV, .MP4, .MPG, .MPEG, .WMV
  • Audio files: .MP3
  • Flash Animations: .SWF (Flash 9, AS 3 recommended)
You can "time" when any page elements appear or disappear, add effects, change their size, rotate them and make them transparent. You can also save any page as a Model, re-use your Model, and share it with others. When your Story is complete, you can publish it as:
  • YouTube, MySpace, FaceBook or iPod in : .MPG, .MP4 or .FLV formats; Flypaper opens the right page on each site and posts your Story.
  • HTML Web Story : with a set of files and folders started by index.html and designed to run well on the Web.
  • Full Screen Presentation : it fills your local screen and responds to the keyboard and mouse commands.
  • New Story on Flypaper Web site : share the link with your friends.
